CSM Group managed the construction of a new $50 million thermo-forming packaging plant in Burley, Idaho.
In addition to managing the project's construction, CSM Group was hired to provide plant relocation services.
Site Selection: CSM Group led the process of identifying location options that met the client’s criteria. CSM Group developed a tailored RFP process to solicit responses from economic development offices in the regions under review. This allowed the client to use state and local incentives to enhance their business model.
Procurement: CSM Group's thorough buy-out process, coupled with our strong relationships with local trade contractors and select material procurement opportunities, achieved cost savings for the client
Project Execution: The resulting project consisted of:
- 96,000 square feet of plant space (broken into four quadrants)
- 7,500 square feet of business office space
- 4,000 square feet covered and paved for grinding operations
- 30,000 square feet for straw storage
- 22,000 square feet of paved employee parking
- a fire service loop road
- preparation for a rail spur
- nine loading docks
- 96,000 square feet of trailer storage
- stormwater retention
