In April 2010, CSM Group was hired to manage the renovation of a vocational trade school for the Calhoun Intermediate School District.
The project consisted of renovations to include new administrative offices, Early Childhood Development classrooms, and a playground, as well as installing new smoke walls and doors, ceilings, and lighting.
Renovations also included replacing all existing HVAC systems (boilers, RTS, etc.), installing complete fire protection, and miscellaneous site upgrades, including new parking lots, site lighting, site concrete, and landscaping.
For the past 10 years, CSM Group has provided construction management services for CISD. We have consulted with the district on capital planning projects and assessments of facilities to determine the need for repairs and the best way to approach facility updates. The most recent major project with CISD was a complete renovation of the Doris Klaussen Developmental Center in Battle Creek.
