Jimmy Maness joins CSM Group as a construction engineer

CSM Group is pleased to welcome Jimmy Maness, construction engineer, to the team.

Maness comes to CSM Group with more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and process engineering and has facilitated multi-functional procedures and activities for many clients across the Mid-South. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with minors in math and business from the University of Memphis.

For 12 years, Maness worked for Coors Brewing Company in Memphis, Tennessee, where he worked his way up the ranks from an entry-level engineer to plant engineer, responsible for designing, planning, installing, and maintaining plant systems, facilities, and equipment. He has also worked for other companies across Tennessee, including The Kellogg Company, The Solae Company, University of Memphis, and Bimbo Bakeries USA.

As a construction engineer, Maness will provide leadership, direction and oversight support to projects during all phases of construction. He will also be responsible for coordinating the construction efforts, predicting and resolving conflicts before they impact the project, and delivering timely and cost-effective solutions for our clients.

With his experience in safety, project management, Capital improvement management, and regulatory compliance, Maness will be providing support on an expansion project for a food processing and packaging client in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada.
