CSM Group is pleased to announce that Matt Higgenbotham, STSC has been promoted to project manager.
As a project manager, Higgenbotham will provide leadership, direction, and oversight on projects during all phases of construction. He will also be responsible for coordinating the construction efforts, predicting and resolving conflicts before they impact the project, and delivering timely and cost-effective solutions for our clients.
“Matt was one of our first project engineers to complete a project coordinator rotation,” said Brian Beaver, Vice President at CSM Group. “This experience has given Matt a great understanding of projects from beginning to end. His attention to detail with change events and budgets has positively impacted projects, and his eagerness to learn all aspects of project execution has shown that he is ready for these added responsibilities.”
Prior to joining CSM Group in August of 2018 as a project engineer, Higgenbotham served in the United States Navy. He spent approximately four years aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt where he served in a variety of roles. He also completed the rigorous Naval Nuclear Power School, which is a demanding 36-week college-level course and graduated with honors.
In May of 2019, he received a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology from Excelsior College and has also earned his Safety Trained Supervisor Construction® (STSC®) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
